The Malaysia Digital Arrival Card is an online arrival registration run by Jabatan Imigresen Malaysia at imigresen-online.imi.gov.my/mdac. (MDAC portal)Does it apply to Australians?
The portal says MDAC must be submitted by two categories of traveller. In its section on autogate facilities for foreigners it lists visitors from Australia, alongside Brunei, Germany, Japan, Korea, New Zealand, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, the US and the UK.
