Entry requirements
According to Maldives Immigration, every visitor needs:
- A passport or travel document with a Machine-Readable Zone and at least one month's validity. Passports with extended validity are not accepted. - A complete itinerary: confirmed return tickets, a prepaid confirmed booking at a registered facility, and enough funds for the stay (or approved sponsorship). - To meet the entry requirements of their next destination. - A Yellow Fever vaccination certificate if arriving from, or having recently travelled through, a country with yellow fever risk. Children under one are exempt.
The IMUGA Traveller Declaration
Every traveller, including children, must submit an individual Traveller Declaration on the IMUGA portal up to 96 hours before arrival. Submission is free.
